Poll of the Day: What Do You Think of the KCA Green Movement?

The Kids Choice Awards featured a lot of green activism at this years ceremonies, and even allowed Leonardo DiCaprio to go as far as to tell the children in attendance that “our mother is hurting”.  I find it rather ridiculous that he is preaching his green lifestyle to this kids in this particular way, especially with the controversey surrounding global warming, or “climate change” as they like to call it now that the temperature has fallen.  What do you think of this?  Vote below in today’s poll!

Thanks for participating!

  1. When we look at climate change and temperature trends, we have to look in large spans of time. One snowy winter doesn’t mean that our world climate isn’t slowly creeping higher. The evidence is almost irrefutable, and I’m not quite sure why folks don’t wake up and recognize this. And regardless of your position on global warming, we should at the very least encourage proper stewardship of the earth, through recycling and conserving energy.

    • I have yet to see any irrefutable evidence regarding climate change, just a bunch of nonsense statistics Al Gore created for his documentary. The fact is, Global Warming is as shaky a theory as evolution, and parading it around to children as fact is manipulative and wrong. Having said that, in the full article I posted before this poll regarding this event I said that there is no harm in teaching kids how to protect the environment. Doing that is only going to help; however, I don’t think the Kids Choice Awards went about doing so in the best way.
