Top 10 Dumbest Democrat Quotes Regarding Healthcare — Human Events

I just love Human Events.  Even though it feels my inbox with what seems like a billion messages every day, articles and lists like the one below make it totally worth it.  Below is a list of the top 10 dumbest quotes by democrats about healthcare.
  1. “I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking.  I want them just to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.  I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.” — President Obama at an August 6 at a rally in Virginia
  2. “They’re carrying swastikas and symbols like that to a town meeting on health care.” — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in an August 5 interview
  3. “What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?” — Rep. John Conyers (Mich.) at the National Press Club, July 24
  4. “These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves.  Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American.” — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (Md.), writing in USA Today, August 10
  5. “The last time I had to confront something like this was when I voted for the civil rights bill and my opponent voted against it. At that time, we had a lot of Ku Klux Klan folks and white supremacists and folks in white sheets and other things running around causing trouble.” — Rep. John Dingell (Mich.), on MSNBC
  6. “What we’re seeing right now is close to Brown Shirt tactics.“ — Rep. Brian Baird, (Wash.) told a local newspaper
  7. “The last time I saw well-dressed people doing this, was when Al Gore asked me to go down to Florida when they were recounting the ballots, and I was confronted with the same type of people.” — Sen. Barbara Boxer (Calif.)
  8. “I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the Astroturf nature of so-called grassroots lobbying … The Astroturf nature of grassroots lobbying, which is largely the term for, you know, this is manufactured anger.” — White House spokesman Robert Gibbs
  9. “Republicans and their allied groups — desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill — are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right-wing extremists funded by K Street lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of healthcare in America taking place in congressional districts across the country.” — Democratic National Committee communications director Brad Woodhouse
  10. “These are nothing more than destructive efforts to interrupt a debate that we should have, and are having.  They are doing this because they don’t have any better ideas … It’s really simple: They‘re taking their cues from talk-show hosts, Internet rumor-mongerers and insurance rackets.” — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.)
  11. “Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.” — Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.), responding to a town hall participant

Goodbye Arlen.

I know this is “No Politics Tuesday”, but it would just be disrespectful to ole Arlen to not bid him farewell.

Dear Arlen,

Don’t feel bad for switching over to the dark side.  We have no use for you here.  I’d much rather you be happy with the Dems and vote for pork and such than be infuriating us here on the right.  Next time a stimulus comes up for a vote (it’s about time for a new, don’t you think?), you can guiltlessly vote away!  We will not miss you any more than you will miss us.  Hope the weather’s nice on the left!

Thanks again for leaving,

Rick

P.S. While you’re packing up your cubicle at the Republican Headquarters, could you please encourage Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe to follow you out the door?  That’d be great.

What do you think about Arlen shipping out?  Leave your comments below or e-mail us at theconservativejournal@gmail.com

Top 10 Senate RINOs According to Human Events

I hate these.

I hate these.

What’s worse than a liberal?  A RINO (Republican In Name Only).  For those that don’t know, these Republicans are no more conservative than the sky is yellow.  They galavant around as donkeys in elephants’ clothing for various reasons; probably because they are ashamed of their liberal views.  Heck, if I was one of those spineless whack-jobs I’d do the same!  But anyway, the good people at Human Events have compiled a list of the Top 10 Senate RINOs so we can all be on the look out for these phonies.  Here’s a little sample of the list:

The Top 5

1. Olympia Snowe, Maine

2. Susan Collins, Maine

3. Arlen Spector, Pennsylvania

4. George Voinovich, Ohio

5. Lisa Murkowski, Alabama

Click the Link.

To see the remaining 5 of the Top 10 and learn which RINO is more liberal than Harry Reid, (Not kidding!) , click here.

What do you think of RINOs?  Does their deceitful nonsense aggravate you as much as me?  And are either of your senators on this unfortunate list?  Post your comments below and let us hear from you!

Thanks for reading!

Rick
