Increase Blog Traffic With Blogsurfer: Check This out!

Featured Blog Winners!

I’ve been talking about Alpha Inventions and all of the great help it’s been in furthering my site for nearly a year now.  While I’ve been praising and using Alpha Inventions nearly I every day, I’ve also been using a smaller blogging utility called Blogsurfer.us, formerly known as Condron.us.

Blogsurfer.us allows you to submit your blog into a continuous shuffle of blogs, leading to an increase in traffic.  While the traffic numbers don’t really rival those of Alpha Inventions, Blogsurfer.us has its benefits.  For starters, Blogsurfer is extremely stable and has a very precise feel.  Blogsurfer displays a timer in the top left corner that displays how many more seconds until the next blog will appear.  This is extremely useful in assuring yourself that you have enough time to bookmark blogs you are interesting.  Also unique to Blogsurfer is a forum for users to interact and exchange blog URLs.  Submitting your blog to the rotation is also extremely easy; you simply press “Add Blog” and type in your URL, e-mail, and category.  I can usually pull out about 10 unique visitors per submission, wihch is definitely worth the 5 seconds it takes to enter the blog information.  Be sure and check out Blogsurfer.us today!

The Conservative Republican Standard: Check This Out!

Featured Blog Winners!

The blogging tool that I can’t quit talking, Alpha Inventions, is not only good for boosting your readership.  It can also introduce you to a plethora (Word of the Day) of blogs organized by subject matter.  So when I was submitting my site to the cycle earlier, I decided to take some time to flip through the blogs.  One blog I discovered is The Conservative Republican Standard written by Jerry Hosey.

According to Jerry’s “About” page, he’s currently in college getting his degree in Political Science degree at Florida State University.  The blog, though mostly about conservative politics (WOO!), covers a variety of topics.  Jerry runs several blog mini-series ranging from “The Congressional File” and “Flashback” (Similar to “This Day in History” on TCJ) to series about FSU sports and news.  The Conservative Republican Standard is updated often, so you can usually expect to go back and find something new.  I definitely recommend you “Check This Out!”

The Inquiring Mind: Check This Out!

Featured Blog Winners! We in the United States are very opinionated people.  We are also very biased depending on our location, family views, etc.  For example, being from the south, I have a predilection to cringe at the world liberal, as northerners do for the word Republican (Exaggerated metaphor, do not e-mail me about it.  I know every liberal doesn’t cringe over a Republican.).  So in order to truly get an unbiased opinion, I feel like we have to look elsewhere; meaning outside the U.S.  Well, The Inquiring Mind is good for just that.  This New Zealander describes himself as liberal on social issues, but right-leaning on economic, making him an even better source for an unbiased view.  The Inquiring Mind covers a plethora (Word of the Day) of issues, from goings about in New Zealand, to entertainment, to political issues spanning the globe; not to mention hilarious political cartoons.  I strongly recommend The Inquiring Mind be added to your daily blog visits!

Recovery Countdown: Check This Out

Featured Blog Winners! The 47% of Americans that didn’t vote for Barack Obama, plus some that voted just to jump on the bandwagon, are no doubt extremely upset with the direction our country is taking.  I, for one, am mortified at the rate we are spending money we don’t have, but I’m trying to remain positive.  If you are like me and the millions of Americans that didn’t vote for this false change, RecoveryCountdown.com is the site for you.  Recovery Countdown is an extremely useful resource that contains links, breaking news, RSS feeds to other websites and much, much more.  The people at Recovery Countdown describe the site perfectly by saying:

This site is an effort by a group of friends to offer a resource to all who are not happy with the direction our nation is headed, and are looking for information and resources that will help them to play an active role in shaping the outcome of the 2010 General Election.

And by the looks of things now, I can’t think of a better way to spend my efforts than trying to keep the big-spending, bailout hailing liberals out of power.  Join the fight today and visit Recovery Countdown!

What do you think of Recovery Countdown?  Are you as infuriated with the way things are going as I am?  Leave your comments below or e-mail us at theconservativejournal@gmail.com.  If you have a site or blog that you think deserves this award, e-mail us a link and it will be considered!

Top 10 Senate RINOs According to Human Events

I hate these.

I hate these.

What’s worse than a liberal?  A RINO (Republican In Name Only).  For those that don’t know, these Republicans are no more conservative than the sky is yellow.  They galavant around as donkeys in elephants’ clothing for various reasons; probably because they are ashamed of their liberal views.  Heck, if I was one of those spineless whack-jobs I’d do the same!  But anyway, the good people at Human Events have compiled a list of the Top 10 Senate RINOs so we can all be on the look out for these phonies.  Here’s a little sample of the list:

The Top 5

1. Olympia Snowe, Maine

2. Susan Collins, Maine

3. Arlen Spector, Pennsylvania

4. George Voinovich, Ohio

5. Lisa Murkowski, Alabama

Click the Link.

To see the remaining 5 of the Top 10 and learn which RINO is more liberal than Harry Reid, (Not kidding!) , click here.

What do you think of RINOs?  Does their deceitful nonsense aggravate you as much as me?  And are either of your senators on this unfortunate list?  Post your comments below and let us hear from you!

BrokenCountry.com: Check This Out!

Featured Blog Winners!Times are tough, but the best thing for us all is a little bit of humor to get through the day.  If this site isn’t supplying enough laughs for you (Haha) look no further than BrokenCountry.com!  I must be honest, the first time I visited the site I nearly died from laughter.  Some of the content (See, Octomom gets arm implants; among others) is priceless satirical gold.  But don’t think that BrokenCountry is all a joke.  The articles manage a great mixture of actual “news” infused with humor and satire, making them all truly delightful to read.  There are, however, a few that are obviously just for kicks.  I encourage everyone to visit the site today and prepare to laugh for minutes, hours, and possibly even days.

What do you think of the site?  Did laugh quite as hard as I did when browsing the many articles?  Post your opinion here and let us hear what you think!

PolitiFact OBAMeter: Check This Out!

Check out Stimulus Watch for the latest updates on the wastefulness in Washington!

Track all of Barack's numerous promises with this useful meter!

Earlier today I was browsing around the internet when I came across Politifact.com, a partner of the St. Petersburg Times.  One section of the site that was especially interesting to me was the “OBAMeter” section.  This useful meter looks at 510 of his campaign promises and rates them either as “No Action”, “In the Works”, or “Stalled”.  Once the action is carried out, it is ranked either as “Promise Kept”, “Compromise”, or “Promise Broken”.  So far, the majority of the promises, understandably, have received no action.  Of the 35 that have been acted on, 21 are still in the works, 9 were kept, 3 were met with a compromise, and 2 have been broken.  Visit the OBAMeter at Politifact to see just what 2 promises have been broken!

The OBAMeter is a great tool to track the every move of Barack, one that I will make a everyday read.

Funnier still; the site slogan:

-“I want you to hold our government accountable.  I want you to hold me accountable” (Barack Obama)

-“Okay, we will.” (PolitiFact)

Visit PolitiFact today by clicking here.

Go directly to the OBAMeter by clicking here.

Stimulus Watch: Check This Out!

Check out Stimulus Watch for the latest updates on the wastefulness in Washington!

Check out Stimulus Watch for the latest updates on the wastefulness in Washington!

I’ve asked myself this question many, many times, but I never could come up with a concrete answer.  Yesterday, however, I was surfing the web when I came across a very interesting website: Stimuluswatch.org.  This website has a detailed description of what exactly our money is going to, and man is there a lot of nonsense in there.  Everyone’s heard that there is a lot of pork in the package, but wait until you look at this!  And not only does the site list everything, but it has a rating next to each item in the package.  This rating is I guess equivalent to a “relevancy meter”, as viewers of the site rate the item as critical or not critical.  If you vote not critical, the item loses 1 point; if you vote critical, the item gains a point.  Believe me, many, MANY items are in the severe negative points.  I encourage everyone to check this site out and vote for which items you think are critical or pointless.  It’s interesting to see what the American people actually have to say about this whole package.

Also, the site is launching a new daily feature called “Disecting the Stimulus: Sifting Through the Pork”, where we will analyze the items on the stimulus to try and find their value.  Look for this in the upcoming days!  Check back to see just how wasteful this package is.
Thanks for reading!
