I was playing around with Photoshop while watching The O’Reilly Factor and I made this new banner for the site. I made the old one before I had Photoshop and it’s really pixelated and just not cool. So this new will do for now. I realize I probably should have spent my time writing an article or something a little more productive, but it’s been a long day, and thinking really isn’t an option right now.
What do you think of the new banner? Leave your opinions below!
I realize that some people think I’m going a little overboard on the “feature” posts, but, to quote a famous song, “it’s my blog, and I’ll post what I want to”.
**future home of TCJ Playlist graphic**
The latest addition to The Conservative Journal line-up of entertainment is the “TCJ Playlist”. How this will work is that each time I review a CD or a new song (Which I plan to start doing soon.) I will decide if it makes the cut for the playlist or not. The playlist does not necessarily include songs that I like, but rather songs that are not complete garbage. If a full CD is reviewed, I do reserve the rite to “line-item veto” (Barack/Congress, take notes for this part) the songs that I do not like, placing only those that I deem not complete garbage on the playlist. I think this holds the potential to be a lot of fun for me, and moderate fun for those that read along. As usual, any suggestions for the playlist are greatly appreciated and welcomed, simply e-mail your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What does this have to with politics, you ask? Everything, because politics is in everything and music is a thing.
Don’t forget, if you have a request for an album review or a suggestion for the playlist, send your e-mails to email@example.com, or leave a comment below. Don’t forget to bookmark The Conservative Journal and sign up for the RSS Feed and the daily e-mail newsletter.
Thanks for participating!
Sorry posting has been so limited the past couple of days, I’ve been extremely busy the past few days. Tomorrow I’ll be back on the regular posting schedule!
Sorry again and thanks for visiting The Conservative Journal!
Today, The Conservative Journal passed a page view milestone; 100,000 since it all began last October. I wanted to thank everyone that has stopped by to read and comment. You are the reason this blog went from being updated once a week to several times a day as it is now. Without you, I don’t know what I’d do with my free time! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know many bloggers on the interweb and finding many interesting and entertaining blogs in the process.
Because the world is full of interesting failures, we must have an award to honor those that exhibit exceptional fails. These fails won’t be your typical fails that you see all over the internet, nor the fabricated variety you can find all over the interweb; but fails that occur in the lives of our finest: politicians, celebrities, etc. Check back in a few minutes to see who kicks off our “Honorary Plaque of Fail” award!
Be sure and subscribe to our RSS Feed and daily e-mail newsletter so you stay in the loop when it comes to the latest fails in pop culture.
Thanks for reading.
Hello everyone, sorry there were no posts yesterday! I had to leave for a conference Wednesday afternoon, so had prepared posts/articles for Wednesday in advance so they could be auto-posted. Thursday, however, I thought I would be home and and back to the regular schedule. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way, so I ended up not getting to return home until today. So everything is back to normal now!
I just wanted to let you all know what was going on. Thanks for reading and supporting The Conservative Journal!
