I haven’t seen quite the outrage I was expecting upon Adam Lambert taking the runner-up spot, but maybe people have just realized that second place can easily be as successful as the winner. It’s all about singing and entertaining when it comes down to selling CDs. Vote below in today’s poll of the day:

In a shock tonight, Adam Lambert joined Kris Allen and Matt Giraud in the bottom 3 of the top 5. Up until this point, I’d considered Adam a lock for the finale, but this shows he may not be as popular as we think. In the end, however, Matt Giraud was sent packing, and rightfully so. The public has already rejected him numerous times, and he’s just not that good. The other four, though I don’t like them all, are certainly better than he is vocally. So Matt, although I’m no fan, I do wish you much success in the real world. I’m sure you’ll do something after the tour!
